Skytek detects 22 commercial vessels worth $1bn steaming away from Ian post-event

Skytek’s analytics platform React has detected 22 commercial vessels with an estimated value of $1bn steaming away from Hurricane Ian’s path on Thursday, while 22 high-value yachts stopped transmitting any data for more than 12 hours.

The software company also reported that the Gasparilla Marina in Boca Grande has suffered significant damage.
