Underwriters in the aviation hull war markets are seeing harder conditions in response to uncertainty arising from Russian sanctions and the Ukraine conflict, according to the latest edition of Gallagher’s ‘Plane Talking’ report.

The hardening of the hull war market can largely be attributed to higher reinsurance costs as reinsurers begin to react to the ongoing conflict.
