The Hartford has promoted Meg Carter to head of global specialty distribution, reporting to the firm’s head of global specialty, Adrien Robinson.

In her new role, Carter will succeed Richard Vaughn, who left the insurer a few months ago to spearhead sales at Main Street America Insurance.
