Florida legislature formally convenes special session aimed at tort reform

The Florida legislature has formally convened a special session that will take place next week to discuss heavy tort reform, according to a joint proclamation from Kathleen Passidomo, president of the Florida Senate, and Paul Renner, speaker of the Florida House of Representatives.
