Twia to renew reinsurance ‘as soon as possible’ as market hardens

The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (Twia) has opted to act early in replacing its expiring Alamo Re cat bond and other reinsurance coverages, with the board and actuarial and underwriting committee to meet in January to begin the process, rather than wait for a scheduled February meeting.
