A Los Angeles judge has ruled against Metallica in a lawsuit brought by the heavy metal band against Lloyd’s insurers over cancelled tour dates, according to media reports.

The band had attempted to sue its insurers, which included Talbot, Liberty Mutual, Brit and Munich Re’s Great Lakes Insurance, to recoup losses suffered after six dates in South America in 2020 were postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
