RLI renews cat treaty with 45% risk-adjusted rate increase: COO Klobnak

RLI COO Jen Klobnak has said that the carrier renewed its cat treaty with a roughly 45% risk-adjusted rate rise, as well as an increase in first dollar retention from $25mn to $50mn.

During the carrier’s Q4 conference call, the executive added that RLI renewed its property per-risk treaty with an estimated 40% risk-adjusted rate increase, and that the first dollar retention went up to $2mn.
