Hedge fund reinsurer Greenlight Re has promoted Faramarz Romer, currently chief accounting officer and treasurer, to CFO.

The appointment will be effective as of April 1, and Romer will succeed Neil Greenspan, who is parting ways with reinsurer on March 31.
