AM Best revises Trisura outlook to negative over management of US captives

AM Best has revised the outlook of Trisura to negative from stable, citing required improvements in the Canadian insurer’s management of captives within its US operations.

The ratings agency said that while Trisura is actively addressing these issues from a policy, organizational and corporate governance perspective, it will take time to evaluate the effectiveness of these actions.
