Florida Senate passes tort reform bill, moving it to DeSantis

Both houses of the Florida legislature have now passed the proposed tort reform bill for all lines of business in the state, and HB 837 is on its way for Governor Ron DeSantis to sign.

On Thursday, the bill passed 23-15 in the state’s Senate, after passing the House last week.
