A Delaware bankruptcy court judge has rejected a challenge by multiple insurers to the $2.5bn settlement plan reached in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) bankruptcy case.

In a March 28 court filing, US District Judge Richard Andrews struck down the arguments from some insurers that the judgment inflated claims and contained factual errors.
