Floridian insurer Monarch is eyeing inorganic growth and an entry into the reinsurance market as it seeks to expand market share and capitalise on market conditions.

The carrier has been approved for a Citizens takeout, which is expected to occur mid-2023, management told Inside P&C exclusively in an interview.
