Chubb completes payment of $800mn Boy Scouts bankruptcy settlement

Chubb has paid the remaining $500mn for the $800mn agreement-in-principle made to settle sexual harassment claims associated with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) bankruptcy case.

The carrier paid $200mn during the first quarter of the year and another $300mn last month, according to the company’s 10-Q.
