Brown & Brown has bought New Jersey wholesale broker Leon Silver Associates, in a deal that adds staff and retail broking relationships across the Eastern Seaboard.

The broker, which was founded in the 1970s, is being acquired from owners Steven Guarino, Michael Silver and Shari Silver.
