Warranty and program insurer Fortegra ditches IPO on New York Stock Exchange

The parent company of warranty and program insurer Fortegra on Thursday said the carrier would no longer go public on the New York Stock Exchange.

In an SEC filing, holding company Tiptree withdrew its previously-submitted registration statement, citing “prevailing market conditions”, and the “high value” placed on its subsidiary and growth prospects.
