Start-up excess and surplus lines carrier Upland Capital Group has named Mark Jones as its chief risk officer and chief actuary, making the executive the latest Hallmark Specialty veteran to join the company since its January launch.

Jones will also take the role of head of analytics and be responsible for managing the enterprise risk of the organization.
