CoreLogic's $6bn sale to Stone Point ends takeover saga

Stone Point Capital and Insight Partners have closed their $6bn acquisition of property information and modelling company CoreLogic.

Following the completion of the deal, CoreLogic's shares have ceased trading on the New York Stock Exchange.

The close of the transaction ends a messy and contested takeover, which started last July when CoreLogic rejected a $5.2bn
