AIG has committed to cut its operational carbon emissions to net zero by 2050, among other pledges, in a first-ever environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) report that comes weeks after a UK investor blacklisted the firm over thermal coal concerns.

The 86-page report describes AIG’s commitment to align a raft of sustainability efforts with its core business strategy.
