FedNat recovers $62mn of Q2 cat losses from XOL and quota share treaties

FedNat recovered $62mn of gross cat losses from its reinsurers in Q2, on top of roughly $145mn in prior-year loss deterioration.

The Q2 recoveries were largely taken by its excess of loss reinsurance treaties, providing $55mn, while $7mn came from quota share treaties.
