Allstate enters $750mn share buyback agreement with JPMorgan Chase

Allstate and JPMorgan Chase have entered an accelerated share repurchase agreement to purchase $750mn of its outstanding common stock.

At the agreement’s inception, according to Allstate’s 8-K filing on August 20, Allstate will receive the majority of the shares repurchased, with JPMorgan acquiring those shares in the open market no later than October 27, 2021.
