The Hartford's share price rose 5% today as speculation in the buy-side investor community about a rekindling of Chubb's interest in acquiring the business boosted the stock.

Sources told this publication that investor sources were responding to the arrival of Chubb's private jet in Hartford, Connecticut, this morning.
