Rising accident frequency, higher severity and surging claims frequency in the auto insurance market is driving higher costs and delays, noted a study released by the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA).

As lockdown orders are lifted across the US, Americans have embraced careless driving behavior as they get back on the road, causing an increase in the number of auto accidents, APCIA said.
