BSA objects Allianz, National Surety motion to lift bankruptcy stay

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) has objected to a motion that Allianz and other insurers filed to lift the automatic stay in the bankruptcy case, a provision which temporarily prevents certain creditors from pursuing debts owed by the debtor.

Earlier this month, Allianz, National Surety Corporation, and Interstate Fire & Casualty Company filed the motion to remove the automatic stay.
