Prime Insurance Company has welcomed its success in a five-year legal battle against Beazley over the incorrect payment of a claim.

Beazley took legal action against Prime in Florida, seeking to recover $6.5mn for a claim on a policy which it led, with Prime as a 20% co-insurer.
