Financial services-focused private equity firm Flexpoint Ford has appointed Chris Ackerman as managing partner, effective immediately.

In his new position the executive will continue overseeing investment opportunities in the financial services industry. He currently serves on the boards of several (re)insurance-focused Flexpoint-backed companies, including Alera Group, GeoVera, TigerRisk and Vale Insurance.
