Aspen has launched a project to incorporate environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) information into decision-making processes for its credit and political risk (CPR) portfolio, in the latest sign of industry efforts to embed ESG considerations into business operations.

Coined Project Leaf, the initiative will involve the assessment and clarification of underwriting transactions for the firm’s CPR portfolio, to ensure they meet ESG requirements.
