Marsh-backed MGU Victor Insurance Holdings said Tuesday it acquired the business of Regional Treaty Services Corporation (RTSC), a Newport, Rhode Island-based, privately held reinsurance MGU.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

John Pfautz, founder of RTSC, will join Victor, and report to CEO Brian Hanuschak.
