Survivors and families of the 98 victims of the Florida condo collapse are on track to receive a $997mn settlement.

Attorney Harley S Tropin announced the figure, which is still subject to final approval, before Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Michael Hanzman yesterday, according to local news reports.
