Arch’s Q3 CoR rises 5.9 points to 97.3% amid $550.8mn cat loss

Arch Capital has reported a 5.9-point deterioration in its combined ratio to 97.3% in the third quarter, as the Bermuda (re)insurer booked a $550.8mn net loss from catastrophes including Hurricane Ian, Typhoon Nanmadol and French hailstorms.
