Chubb paid $200mn of $800mn Boy Scouts bankruptcy settlement in Q3

Chubb in Q3 paid $200mn out of the $800mn agreements-in-principle it made to settle sexual harassment claims associated with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) bankruptcy case, according to regulatory filings.

Chubb said it expects to pay the remaining $600mn liability within the next 12 months, filings show.
