Allstate plans to exit commercial and shared economy insurance markets that comprise 55% of its commercial premiums, the company announced in its Q3 2022 earnings release.

“Commercial insurance is being exited in five states and coverage to transportation network companies will not be offered unless it utilizes telematics-based pricing,” said Mario Rizzo, president for property-liability.
