Truist iterates broad appetite for ‘transformational M&A’ after Stone Point deal closure

Truist Financial Corporation management has said the structure behind its deal with Stone Point increases opportunities for M&A that is both “transformational” and “incremental”, in efforts to remain highly competitive in a rapidly consolidating industry.

“Strategically, we are creating opportunities for Truist Insurance Holdings to grow organically and inorganically, and remain a leader in a rapidly consolidating industry,” said chairman and CEO Bill Rogers.
