Reinsurers reported year-on-year premium-growth of 12.1% on average in 2022, supported by an improved pricing environment in commercial lines and reinsurance business, according to Gallagher Re.

Of the carriers Gallagher Re tracks, 16 reported double-digit premium growth, with five reporting increases of more than 20%.
