Chubb has paid an additional $100mn of the $800mn agreements-in-principle it made to settle sexual harassment claims associated with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) bankruptcy case.

The payment followed the $200mn first disbursement Chubb made in Q3 as part of the settlement.

The carrier expects to pay the remaining $500mn liability this year, according to SEC filings.
